Pastor Chris Oyakhilome says, “Marriage in Christianity for most people is just a flop. Why? Because they don’t agree with God’s definitions. They have theirs.”
Most Christians all over the world have a strong desire to be successful in their relationships and so they listen to whoever will teach and counsel them on relationships. As a result, many sense knowledge people have arisen to teach their own ideas rather than the Word of God. We hear of marriage seminars all over the place, but Pastor Chris says, “What you need is not a marriage seminar but a Word seminar.” He has also noted the fact that most conveners of these “marriage seminars” actually end up divorcing because what they teach may sound like the Word of God, but it’s not. Many who have followed their teachings have harvested sour and gloomy relationships.
Although Pastor Chris does not particularly hold marriage or singles seminars, it would amaze you to know that he has taught immensely and extensively from the Word of God on relationships. These vast teachings are scattered all over the thousands of messages he has preached over the years, and the purpose of this blog is to bring them out for you.
