A MAN MARRIED A WOMAN

Thanks be unto the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ for giving
us Pastor Chris! We have found in him, a teacher sent from God.
The title of the message is GOD'S LAST WORD ON YOUR FINANCES Part 6.
If you already know Pastor Chris, then you know he teaches from his
spirit in the direction phronesis moves him, irrespective of what he
titles the message. For example, if you want to understand sound
financial intelligence and save yourself many future money troubles,
listen to THE MASTER SOULWINNER.
Okay, alright now, so let's look at what Pastor talked about love and
relationship in this financial teaching. He tells a very touching and
instructive story here. Before he tells the story he says,"Love not
only gives, it has the capacity to receive. You must reciprocate love,
otherwise you quench love." Then he says also,"When you wound love,
you quench love." Hear the story:
"A man married a woman and ill-treated her. Everyday as he went to
work he'd write a list of things for her to do: 'Before I come back,
make sure make sure the kitchen is cleaned, the bed is dressed, the
table is set...' He would write everything and then on his return he
would ask for the list and then go through it with her to be sure
she'd done everything.

"She was so terrified as she lived with her husband. She had to do it
because she'd be in trouble he she didn't. Until one day, the man
died.

"Years after, she married another man who loved her and the house she
used to live in with her late husband had become hers. So the new man
moved in.

"After a long while of living with this man who was so loving and
kind, one day as she up cleaned the house, she got close to something
she felt in the chair. She wanted to check out what it was and tried
to pull it out; it was a litte piece of paper.

"As she pulled it out and opened it, she found out it was one of those
lists the late husband used to leave for her. As she read it through
she began to cry. She remembered her late husband and the fear in
which she lived all those years. And she thought for a moment:
everything in that list, she been doing for this new husband and the
husband never asked for it. She looked at her life: she had to do it
by force for another and for this one, she did it for love...

"Look at this woman: she had love in her and would do anything if she
were loved. She'd do anything because of love, but the former husband
pulled something else out of her. Love was quenched. He never did get
her love. And this other one got her love."
